It was not pretty pictures that reached the rallycross community from Saudi Arabia: Hansen Motorsport driver Kevin Hansen injured himself at the opener of the second Extreme E season and had to be transported to the hospital.
There, doctors diagnosed a bruised lung and a fractured vertebra. Hansen will now receive further treatment on site before returning to Sweden. According to his own statement, however, his doctors are confident that the injuries will heal well. At times, Hansen will wear a special brace to support his spine.
